Class Descriptions:
Yoga Level I / Gentle Yoga
The Gentle class is planned for students interested in a slower, but just as effective, practice to loosen and strengthen muscles while calming the body and mind. This is the class for times of high stress or low energy, giving you an occasion to safely build strength, mobility and balance. No yoga experience required.
Yoga Level II / Therapeutic Vinyasa
Level 2 is for students who have practiced alignment-based Yoga for at least five months. Asanas from Level I are refined and held longer; deeper backbends and inversions are practiced regularly. Level II students practice the Morning Series, Surya Namaskar.
Yoga All Levels
This class is taught with a level effect. The students are lead into the basic posture, then are given the option to hold that pose or experience the next level of difficulty. No yoga experience is required
Yoga for Back Pain
A Therapeutic Yoga class focusing on sciatica, scoliosis, sacrum iliac, flat back, neck problems, and many other back related health conditions. This class is also suggested for beginners to set a safe foundation upon which to grow a Yoga practice while preparing students for Level I. No yoga experience is required
Yoga for Limited Mobility
Yoga For Mobility is for those individuals living or recovering from Chronic illness, such as: Multiple Sclerosis, Mild Arthritis, Chronic pain, Chronic Fatigue, Overweight, Senior as well as people who are temporarily limited. All yoga postures are done seated on a chair. No yoga experience is required
